See exactly what’s slowing your business down – and what to fix first

A short, sharp diagnostic that shows you how work is really moving through your business, where it’s getting stuck, and what to tackle in order.

If you’re dealing with messy workflows, constant rework, or unclear processes, the Operations Health Check gives you a clear picture of what’s going wrong and a prioritised plan to fix it – without committing to a full implementation project.

This is diagnostic only. We don’t reconfigure tools or build documentation here – we show you where the problems are and what to do about them.

How We Get You There

A focused, diagnostic-only process that shows you the real picture and your next moves – no extra fluff.

1
Focused Workflow Review

We start by understanding how work really moves today – not how it “should” work on paper.

We take a close look at your 3–5 most important workflows, such as:

  • enquiry → quote → delivery
  • scheduling or booking
  • back-office admin for jobs/invoices/payments

For each workflow we map how work is actually moving through your business today, so you can see clearly where things are smooth, where they’re clunky, and where work is falling through the cracks.

Scope guardrail: we review up to 5 workflows agreed upfront. If more workflows surface during the review, we park them or scope a separate engagement.

2
Friction & Waste Analysis

From those workflows, we highlight exactly where you’re losing time and clarity.

This includes:

  • duplicated work and double-handling
  • unnecessary manual steps
  • unclear roles and responsibilities
  • poor handovers
  • recurring delays or rework

You see exactly where effort is being wasted and why things feel harder than they should.

Scope guardrail: we focus on identifying problems and patterns – we don’t redesign workflows in detail here. Deeper redesign is handled in a separate implementation or rebuild project if you decide to proceed.

3
High-Level Systems & Tools Check

We check whether your tools are helping you – or quietly working against you.

We review the key tools that support the workflows in scope, for example:

  • CRM or job management
  • scheduling and calendar tools
  • communication channels
  • file storage for those workflows

You’ll see where tools are under-used or over-complicated, causing double-handling, or not lining up with how your team actually works.

Scope guardrail: this is a high-level review, not a systems project. No tool reconfiguration, migrations, or automation work happens in this service. We make recommendations only – changes are made by you or through a separate implementation project.

4
Prioritised Action Plan

You get a short, clear plan that tells you what to do next – in order.

You receive a practical, prioritised action plan that shows:

  • what to fix now (quick wins)
  • what to fix next (medium-term improvements)
  • what to consider later (bigger structural changes)

Each action is written in plain language so you know exactly what to do next – whether you implement it yourself or engage OSG for follow-on work.

Scope guardrail: the action plan is written advice, not implementation. We can highlight which items are best suited to a targeted clean-up versus a broader rebuild-style project if you want help delivering them.

5
30-Minute Findings Call

We walk you through the findings so you leave with confidence, not more questions.

We walk you through your results so you can ask questions, challenge assumptions, and clarify what each recommendation means in practice.

Scope guardrail: the call is used to explain findings and next steps. It’s not a live redesign session or an extra consulting block.

Who This Is For

Ideal for leaders who want operational clarity, not a 60-page report.

  • Small and medium-sized businesses
  • Founders overwhelmed by day-to-day operations
  • Teams experiencing bottlenecks, delays, or inconsistent results
  • Businesses preparing to scale and wanting to tidy the base first
  • Anyone who wants structure, clarity, and smoother workflows before investing in a bigger project

If you already know exactly which area is broken and want it fixed, we can use the Health Check to confirm scope and then design a targeted implementation project from there.

After You Book

We keep the process simple and clear.

  1. You receive a short intake form by email.
  2. We confirm the 3–5 workflows and tools to focus on, and lock in the booking.
  3. OSG completes the assessment and prepares your written findings and action plan.
  4. We hold your 30-minute findings call.

You leave with a practical, prioritised plan to move forward – either on your own or with further help.

Ready to See Exactly What’s Slowing You Down?
